Testing app
(aka Installing an app on development store)
Before you submit your app for review, you need to test it on a development workspace to check for any bugs or errors. The client’s business depends on apps, so it's important that you make sure your app doesn't include any errors.
Before you start
Before you set up a development workspace for your app, you need to have an Eshopbox partner account and a development workspace. Learn how to create a development workspace
How it works
Log into your Partner Dashboard.
select your app that you want to install on a development workspace.
The app detail page will be open. Look for Test on development workspace on the Actions menu.
You need to select one of the development workspaces on which you want to install and test the app.
Click log in on the development workspace you want to install.
You should now be directed to the OAuth screen. If you don't see the OAuth screen, then you might need to double-check your app’s code, as well as the app URLs and redirects. To check your app's URLs and redirects:
In your Partner Dashboard, click Apps.
Click the name of your app.
On your app's page, click App setup.
In the URLs section, make sure all the URLs are correct.
6. Click the Install an app on the workspace.
Once the app is installed,
you can do custom development. Once you have thoroughly tested your app functionality, you can
Generate an installation link and share it with a client
In the case of a public app, you can submit for publishing to the Eshopbox app store.
It is also recommended to build app extensions to give clients higher control on the workflow.
